Draft. This page describes what the game does today. It has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.
MAKE AM is a game. You can play all of it without telling us who you are. This page says what we hold when you play online, in plain words.
Who is responsible
MAKE AM is made and run by Rahza Technology Ltd (rahzatech.com), Garki Area 11, Abuja. Questions or requests: contact@rahzatech.com. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we hold, and why
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| A random number for your device (guest account) | So the game can save to the cloud and you keep one account | Until the account is deleted |
| Your phone number, if you choose to secure your account | To sign you in on any device and send sign-in codes | Until the account is deleted |
| Your game: the name you typed, your save, wallet and each day’s takings | Cloud save, the leaderboard, and checking that game cash was earned fairly | Until the account is deleted |
| Crew, Ajo and Motor Market activity | To run those features between players | Until the account is deleted |
| Where you are hanging out (which venue, while you are inside), what you say in venue and crew chat, your friends, invites, blocks and reports you make | To let real players meet at the same place, talk, and keep each other safe | Being at a venue: forgotten after 45 seconds. Venue chat: shown for 2 hours. Crew chat: 30 days. The rest: until the account is deleted |
| Purchases of game cash: pack, amount, payment reference | To deliver what you bought and keep accounts. Card details go to the payment company (Paystack), never to us | Until the account is deleted. Paystack keeps its own record of the payment |
| Play statistics: which steps you finished, which day, how much game cash | To find where the game is too hard, too slow or broken | Until the account is deleted |
| Crash reports: the error, the screen and the game day | To fix bugs | Kept without your account once it is deleted |
| A scrambled fingerprint of your internet address, when you trade on the Motor Market | To spot one person trading between their own accounts. The address itself is not stored | Until the account is deleted |
What we do not do
- We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or microphone.
- We do not sell your data.
- Advertisers whose billboards appear in the game get counts of how often a board was seen. They never get anything about you.
- Other players can see a card about you: the name you typed, your status, home state, crew, weekly takings, the cars in your garage, the kind of home you have and how far Mama’s House has gone. They never see your cash, your phone number or anything about your device.
- At a venue, other players there see your name and status, and what you write in that venue’s chat. A person you block no longer sees you anywhere, and you no longer see them. When you report someone, they are not told who reported them.
Under 18
The game asks your age once. If you are under 18, play statistics are switched off and buying game cash is not offered.
Your choices
- Switch off play statistics: Phone → More in the game.
- See everything we hold: Phone → More → Account → Download my data.
- Delete everything: in the same place, or on the delete your account page if you no longer have the game. Deletion happens after 30 days, and you can cancel before then.
- Correct something or complain: write to the contact above. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Who else handles data for us
The company that hosts our servers, Paystack for payments, and an SMS company (Termii) for sign-in codes. Each gets only what it needs to do that job.
